Description

Legend® Injectable Solution (hyaluronate sodium) indicated in the treatment of joint dysfunction of the carpus or fetlock in horses due to non-infectious synovitis associated with equine osteoarthritis. It is generally agreed that administration of sodium hyaluronate has a beneficial effect on the following: Improvement of lubrication, improvement of permeability regulation via the synovial membrane, positive effect on the composition of the synovial fluid, partially as a result of activation of the synoviocytes to synthesise increased amounts of hyaluronate, improvement of nutrients to the cartilage, and direct anti-inflammatory effects.
Each vial is 4 mL. A box consists of 6 vials.
